random thought-spill
some of the things i’ve learned in 2010:

  1. God is really really really and really good. Yeah, I truly understood that unbelievably real fact this year. Sorry God that it took nineteen years for me to realize. 
  2. Everyone is gifted and needed for the Body. Without one person, the Body can totally feel the absence and difference. 
  3. True sisters are an absolute blessing. I don’t know what I would have done without you girls. Sisters! Let us be women’s women. 
  4. Transparency is key to restoration.
  5. Repentance is key to restoration.
  6. Obedience is key to restoration.
  7. God is a god who saves, heals, redeems, restores, resurrects, fills, loves, etc. He will make the blind see, the lame walk, the deaf hear, and the mute speak. He will even make the dead alive. How much faith do you have?
  8. Pouring out is just as important as filling up. It’s not about getting spiritually fat but it’s about sharing the things you’ve received.
  9. Every action must be done by/with the Spirit. Nothing should be done without Christ’s seal of approval. The clothes you wear, the events you attend, the friends you meet up with, the foods to eat, the people you talk to, the job you take—everything is to be of the Spirit. 
  10. God loves me for me. Despite all the disgusting, horrendous, and ugly things I’ve done to people and myself, He forgives and clothes me in purity, holiness, and righteousness. There is hope in Him always.
