daughters of light
this is an entry that i know will get some people heated up or uncomfortable but i pray that for those who do start to feel this way as you read on (and please read on, girls specifically), let it be a conviction for you to really expose all the darkness you know you harbor inside so that God can shine His light.

i’m sure almost every single girl out in the world (even, especially, the innocent looking ones) at one point or another has struggled with lust and sexual immorality. whether that be physical or emotional or mental, everyone has, is, or will (sorry) struggle(d)(ing) with it.
it ain’t only the boyz who think, look, and do the dirtys.
and if you deny it, then i will be the first to publicly tumblr-admit it.
yes, i have struggled with it, am struggling with it, and will struggle with it—emotionally, physically, and mentally.
but, girls, do not fret for we are not doomed!
do not fret for the blood of Christ can restore purity and bring back the loss of innocence. do not fret for you are not alone. do not fret for you will not be condemned under the protective wings of our Father!
so much of society these days twist this notion of purity as something ridiculous or frivolous. how many of us know friends who have had sex or gotten pregnant or done other ridiculously duhty things? how many of us have had sex, gotten pregnant (or pregnancy scares), or done other ridiculously duhty things (and trust me, i ain’t judgin’)?
WOMEN OF CHRIST, STAND UP AND FIGHT! no more will we let the girls of this generation and the next generations be oppressed by the lies of the enemy! no more will they begin to harbor their dirty secrets but rather, be transparent and stand up for truth & righteousness! no more will we even LET the enemy control the younger generation of girls!
friends, sisters, girls, women, there is no condemnation within the Body of Christ so let’s begin to walk in humility and expose the darkness that needs to be in the light.
the dreams you have, the fantasies you think, the thoughts that pop into your head are not of your own. the enemy can no longer come into the hiddenness of the night and say that you are the daughter of darkness and shame. the enemy can no longer say that you are the daughter of guilt and dirtiness. you are not the enemy’s but rather you are the Father’s! you are His Bride! you are His beloved!
Jesus is saying that you are His and that these thoughts, fantasies, dreams are not you and can never define you. You are defined by Christ and Him alone.
let our lives not be lived in fear, shame, guilt, oppression, intimidation, or manipulation! Instead, let it be FULLY lived according to the blood that was shed for us—the blood that wipes clean our dirty bodies, minds, and souls.
so girls, let us become women as we seek purity, righteousness, holiness, and humility! let us become women with other women and stop seeking after the desires of our own hearts. no man, celebrity, or fictional prince charming can ever define these beautiful women of Christ! no one except the ULTIMATE Man.
let’s stop harboring our sins and begin to expose it into the light with the sisters around us. stop letting these things sink in and hidden away but command them to leave in the name of Jesus.
because,
you are not the daughter of Satan and his darkness.
you, beautiful women, are the daughters of light and freedom
—the daughters of the powerful, living God.
