and bear with me, this is the longest entry I’ve ever written.

All my life, I was fed and offered this “watered-down gospel” from my elementary, jr. high, and even high school bible studies. I believed that once I’ve said the sinner’s prayer and believed that Jesus Christ was my savior who died for me and my sins on the cross, I would go the Heaven. just.like.that.

But never in the Bible did it say that we can go to heaven after praying the sinner’s prayer. 

How many of us, “christians”, have been taught this and legitly believe this? How many of us think that we will go to Heaven by just accepting Jesus as our Messiah, Christ, Savior? How many of us think that we will be embraced by God at the pearly gates by doing absolutely nothing for the Kingdom of God?

If the cross hasn’t shattered the very center of our lives and we have not turned from our wicked ways, we have not attained salvation. 

We are not Christians.

True salvation is not this false, mixed gospel that so many people have accepted and acknowledged as truth. True salvation is repenting of all our sins to not only God, but the Body. True salvation is consecrating ourselves and giving up everything in our lives for the Kingdom. True salvation is letting go of our control and fleshly desires so that there can be more room for God to fill and expand. True salvation is the willing desire to do everything God calls us to do with absolutely no compromising.  

If we aren’t living in this true salvation, I’m sorry to put it bluntly but we are all going to hell. Jesus will shut the door on us and say, “I never knew you.” No matter the ministries we served, the bible studies we taught, the worship we led, the church services we attended, etc. etc., Jesus will not do anything but deny us and close the door on our faces. 

If we are still having sex and other naughty, dirty things with our boyfriends/girlfriends and we proclaim ourselves as a “Christians”, we are going to hell. If we are still masturbating in our own rooms and seeking our own pleasures rather than those of Jesus, we are going to hell. If we are lusting after the boys in dramas and movies and still saying we are seeking the Lord, we are going to hell. Even if we decide to wear what we want, do what we want, say what we want, eat what we want, watch what we want and still proclaim the name of Christ, we are going to be sent straight into the pits of hell. 

If you are not willing to let go of everything—your job, your education, your future, your dreams, your boyfriend/girlfriend, your friends, your lifestyle—that is not glorifying God, I’m sorry but you will not be entering the gates of Heaven. 

1 John 3: 2-10
“Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.” 

Am I starting to offend some of you guys? Good, then you are being convicted. I’m sorry to be so blunt but this is the truth, straight from the living Word. IF WE ARE CONSTANTLY SINNING, WE ARE CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL. There is no excuse to be in sin. Just because we are deemed as “sinners” does not give us the right or the excuse for us to keep on sinning, especially the same sin over and over again.

Wait, but what about God’s love and grace? Yes, my God is a god of love. My God is a god of justice. My God is a god to be feared. He will bring down His wrath and judgement on those who are not deemed worthy to be in His presence because of the overwhelming amounts of compromising, sin, and darkness. My God is a god of love because love is patient and kind yet it also disciplines and does not delight in evil. Of course Jesus extends His grace but, in no way, does that mean we can take advantage and keep sinning and compromising and sinning and compromising.

There are no maybe’s, if’s, when’s, or but’s in the Kingdom of God. Being lukewarm, neither hot or cold, is not tolerated. You cannot have one foot in the world and one foot in the kingdom. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. 

Jesus is coming. If we aren’t constantly lying on our faces and repenting of our sins, if we aren’t fully giving our whole lives to Jesus, and if we aren’t focusing on the utter HOLINESS of God, we will not be recognized on judgment day. We will be suffering eternity in the blazing fires of hell. 

God is unbelievably and undeniably holy. All of Old Testament talks about the utter holiness of God and how one blemish, sin, fleshly desire will strike a person down to his/her death. He is that same God right now. God never changes and therefore, his jealousy and wrath did not change. We must work out our salvation everyday in fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).

Yes, Jesus is that bridge of grace; however, this grace must not be used as an encouragement to continuously sin but rather to EMPOWER US TO HOLINESS!

God is jealous for us. He wants every single aspect of our lives. He wants our time, our devotions, our distractions, our idols to be laid before His altar. Only then can we really seek His holiness in purity, righteousness, and truth. We cannot even come close to Heaven without laying it all down. 

I’m not writing this to offend, point fingers, criticize, or judge. Simply, the Spirit is using me to write this so that truth can be known. the REAL truth, not the mixed, false, and twisted notion of truth. I honestly cannot even bear the idea of withholding this message for myself and letting my friends and loved ones to keep living their sinful, compromised lives. I cannot bear the idea of watching them wallow in darkness when there is so much joy in the light. 

So, no matter the amounts of friends I lose, the number of people who will unfollow me on tumblr, or the persecution and criticisms I will get, I will never cease to preach the truth.

Never again will I allow my loved ones to obliviously walk straight to hell.
