Where there is death, there always seems to be life as well.

God is funny, that when a flower dies, He has its seeds plant in the ground to begin a new cycle of life.

Reality is that we will all physically die sooner or later in this world.
And even with physical death, life—physical, metaphorical, spiritual, etc.—is birthed from that reality.

but death also shows how utterly worthless the material things of this world are. Death shows how pointless it is to store things on this earth as if it is something we can bring into our graves.

maybe that is why this culture is dying (pun intended) to find the magic Fountain of Youth—chasing botox treatments, face lifts, intense workout sessions—so that they will not have to dwell, but just run from this reality.

however, the Bible actually shows us another kind of death. a death that should not be something to run away from but to actually embrace. a death that brings life—and not the life we’ve been talking about, but a life that is eternal, everlasting, forever.

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain”

to die is gain.
to die is gain.
to die is gain.

for Christ will live.
